Patricia Zontelli is the author of Red Cross Dog, winner of the Headlands Poetry Competition and finalist for the National Poetry Series, and Edith Jacobson Begins to Fly, a Minnesota Voices Project winner, both published by New Rivers Press.
Her poems have been published or are forthcoming in a number of journals, including Beloit Poetry Journal, Connecticut Review, Georgetown Review, Gettysburg Review, Los Angeles Times, Magma, Mxlexia, Slant, Water~Stone Review, Whiskey Island Review and many others.
Zontelli is the recipient of a Bush Individual Art Fellowship, Loft Mentor Series in Poetry, Wisconsin Arts Board Individual Artist Grant, Wisconsin Arts Board Study and Travel Grant, Lake Superior Regional Writers Competition, the Dallas Light Rail Poetry Competition.
She taught at the American Community School in London, Uk and in the Art Department, University of Wisconsin – Stout.
She has a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota and lives with her husband, artist Charles Wimmer, in Wisconsin and England.
